Pineapple fiber is pineapple leaf fiber, also known as pineapple hemp, is the fiber extracted from pineapple leaf, belongs to leaf hemp fiber. Pineapple fibers are made up of many tightly bound bundles, and each bundle is composed of 10 to 20 single fiber cells. The surface of the fiber is rough, with longitudinal cracks and holes, and transverse branches without natural distortion. Single fiber cells are cylindrical, with sharp ends, smooth surface and linear lumen. Pineapple fiber appearance white, soft and smooth, feel like silk, so it has the title of pineapple silk.
