Material introduce

Recycled PU leather is not a  new PU leather made of discarded faux leather scraps . Maybe we can only call this behavior as reuse, not recycled . 

So what’s Recycled PU leather? 

We can start from the understanding of PU leather, the full name of PU leather should be: Polyurethane faux Leather . The raw material is polyester textile, and then the liquid polyurethane solvent is mixed with other auxiliary solvents, such as flame retardant, UV protection stabilizer, etc., and be smeared on the polyester fabric. after Processing by machine ,the fabric similar to animal leather is produced. 

Recycled PU leather — Recycled means the recycled raw material.  The material of PU leather is fresh polyester fabric and the material of  recycled PU leather is recycled polyester fabric . That means recycled PU leather is actually a new kind of sustainable fabric. It has the same sustainable character as recycled polyester fabric, that is reduces dependence on petroleum from virgin sources as a source of raw material; recycles waste plastic; reduces greenhouse gas emissions through making and processing virgin polyester.
